We collect information necessary to operate the auction platform, including: seller account information (name, email) provided through Clerk authentication, buyer contact information (name, phone number) entered by sellers, auction data (titles, prices, bids), and WhatsApp message content exchanged during auctions.
Information is used solely to operate the auction platform: facilitating auctions between sellers and buyers, sending WhatsApp notifications about auction events (bids, results), and providing sellers with auction management tools.
We use the WhatsApp Business API to send auction-related messages to buyers on behalf of sellers. Messages include auction notifications, bid confirmations, and auction results. Buyers participate by sending messages to the auction WhatsApp number.
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with service providers necessary to operate the platform: Clerk (authentication), Convex (database), Vercel (hosting), and Meta (WhatsApp messaging).
Auction data and message history are retained for the duration of the seller's account. Sellers can request deletion of their data by contacting us.
